can san diego chargers still make the playoffs?

they are 5-7 right now and if they win there next 3 or 4 games they will be 9-7 or 8-8

The Chargers best bet is to win the division. the Chargers would win a tiebreaker against Oakland but not Denver. So the easiest way for the Chargers would be:

Denver lose 3 games or more.
Oakland lose 2 games or more.
Kansas City lose 1 game or more.
San Diego win 4 games.

If they are at the top of their division at the end of the season, they will make the playoffs. The 7-9 Seahawks beat the Saints last year, have hope.

It would take a complete collapse by both Oakland and Denver. It isn't mathematically impossible, but they're pretty much out.
