"There exists no statute which affirmatively requires the board to deny (Sandusky's) withheld retirement allowances," President Judge Dan Pellegrini wrote on the Commonwealth Court opinion (via PennLive.com). "Indeed, the Retirement Code affirmatively required the board to allow the pension benefits."
Friday's decision overturneda retirement board ruling that Sandusky's 2012 convictionsautomatically made him ineligible to your state-paid retirement benefits he ama sed during 30 Jason Babin Jersey years in the form of university employee.
