Jaguars Fan is on a distinguished road
How are the jacksonville jaguars looking this year?

I'm a Jaguars fan and they have been doing good with the rookies they drafted and with the FA's they got and the FA's they are about to get. But I want to get other peoples opinions. So please help!

JAGUARS!!!!

With these FA signings, I believe we'll see the Jags Defense we knew best a couple years ago. Plus Kampman is coming back.

I still think the Colts are going to take the division again. As long as Manning's there, we'll still be 2nd on that ladder. I believe that we'll make the wildcard round and win our first meet, but not our next one.

To whoever was talking about Sims-Walker, I really didn't like him last year. He wasn't as productive and from what I saw just had a fluke year.

I'm willing to give Derek Cox a chance for the first few games. I really liked him his rookie year and believes he is willing to work hard to get that mojo back.

Also, with Jennings emerging, and possible Karim, MJD's load will be lighter and he can finally rest, and be less injury prone.

I believe our Special Teams will suffer because Podlesh and Scobee had a lot of chemistry. Plus they were pretty much the same age.

They aren't ready just yet. Unless Blaine Gabbert takes the league by storm as a rookie and things break their way they are in for a long season.

I see them finishing third in the division. It's going to be a dog fight between the Colts and Texans for 1st and the Jags will finish 3rd.

Crash and burn. They overachieved last year and they won three games that they probably shouldn't have; vs the Colts, Texans, and Browns. All lucky plays.

There will probably be a QB controversy and MJD might even be involved after his comments about the Jaguars choice of picking Gabbert, defending Garrard and saying they should have used it on another position. MJD also has injury issues and if he gets injured, the whole offense crumbles. They also lost their primary target, Mike Sims-Walker, to the Rams and Mike Thomas is not good enough to handle a true #1 WR role. When you factor in Del Rio being on the hot seat and overpaying free agents (Landry and the guy from the Colts), they are done. The Texans and Titans are getting a whole lot better.

They might have a shot at the wild card but not first in division. The colts will be on top
