AJ Greene, Arizona Cardinals-bound (Bye bye, Fitzgerald)?

This trade could open up so many opportunities for Arizona to trade Fitzgerald for possibly the Cleveland Browns at 6th (Robert Quinn's rights) and receive some expiring contracts from the Cleveland Browns.

1) Kill two birds with one stone. Fix Defensive End and Receiver for the next 7-10 years, and get rid of the cancer that's been dwelling on the team (Fitzgerald).

2) Derek Anderson has another year to improve. This is critical!

3) More talent is on the team. Green is projected to become the next Calvin Johnson phenotype, so losing Fitzgerald won't hurt so bad, and the acquisition of Quinn will only ease the pain.

What are you thinking!!! Fitzgerald is a ton better than Green. They both are eaqual physically but Larry got him. Besides Green will go 4th to the Bengals.

Are you kidding? Why wouldn't they just take Quinn at 5 and keep the guy they know for 100% sure is an elite NFL wideout? I like A.J. Green as much as anybody, but nobody knows how he'll be in the NFL, while everybody knows that Fitz is one of the two best at his position in the NFL and that he can produce at a high level no matter who's throwing him the ball.

What about Fitzgerald is cancerous? Anybody in his position would've demanded a trade a looonnngggg time ago. Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but I've never heard any such things from Fitzgerald.

And Green is NOT "the next Calvin Johnson." CJ was a once in a lifetime prospect. The guy's built like a small tight end and as strong as a linebacker but runs like a cornerback and combines that with crazy flexibility and body control. Green is awesome, but he doesn't have CJ's combination of size, strength or elite all around athleticism.

Also, Fitzgerald is the type of WR that can make a QB look better than he is. Even if he doesn't get separation he still has the size, strength, vertical ability, body control and hands to beat any cornerback on a jumpball. Green has similar body control and vertical ability, but he isn't anywhere near as physical.

Basically, you don't bank on the hope that a prospect who hasn't played one second of pro football can replace a guy that's done nothing but play on an elite level since he's been in the league. What if both Quinn and Green bust? Then you just set yourself back even more years than if just Quinn bust.

Hell no I am not trading a GREAT reciever to get a guy that at his best would be as good as Larry. In my opinion the Cardinals NEED A QB and from what I hear they are high on Blaine Gabbert and will draft him at the 5th pick. This team will go nowhere with Derek Anderson at QB they got a solid secondary, but need some help offensively and a QB like Gabbert or if they draft Quinn or Bowers they could hold off to second round and get a guy in my opinion who will be the best QB in this draft class like Ryan Mallet. Derek Anderson had the best WR in football, a solid WR in steve breaston and performed extremely poorly. In my opinion draft Mallet in second round and fix your defensive end spot with Quinn Bowers or one of those top DE on the board.

You think Fitz is the cancer of the Cardinals?

The cancer of the Cardinals is their enimec defense and lack of QB. Not to mention their o-line sucks too.

As a matter of fact, everyone on the Cardinals roster is a cancer to their team except Fitz, DRC, and Adrian Wilson.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that there won't be any player-for-player or player-for-pick trades anyway so your question in irrelevant.
